Troubleshooting (Remove tube - Battery)

Listen for the Squeal.

Now that your hearing is powered on and working let's figure out if your hearing aid can produce sound.

  1.  Remove the tube from your hearing aid by grabbing the hard plastic piece that connects to the base and twist counterclockwise until the tube is removed.

  2.  Make sure that the volume is turned up all the way by pressing the top half of the volume rocker quickly several times or rolling the volume wheel to the highest number.
  3.  Place the hearing aid in the palm of your hand and grip the hearing aid as if you caught a bug with your hand.
  4.  Hold the gripped hearing aid close to your ear and listen for a squealing sound.
