CIC's or Completely-In-Canal hearing aids sit almost invisibly inside your ear canal. They are ideally suited for mild to moderate hearing loss, including individuals with fairly severe high frequency sensorineural losses. They are not suitable for all types of hearing loss and a thorough evaluation by an audiologist is advised before a CIC aid is purchased. With CIC aids wind noise usually not a problem, and because they are so close to the bony portion of the ear, occlusion, or the plugged up feeling does not usually occur.
